Child and family experience
Extensive work with children, caregivers, schools, child-welfare systems, and multidisciplinary teams.
Fairness, compassion, careful fact-finding, and clear communication guide every Parenting Pathway investigation.

I’m the founder of Parenting Pathway Investigations LLC and a trained Parenting Investigator on the North Dakota roster. Although the role is not a licensed position, it requires neutrality, sound professional judgment, detailed information gathering, and the ability to keep a child’s needs at the center of a difficult process.
I have worked in social work for more than a decade, supporting children and families in schools, homes, child-welfare systems, and courtrooms. I am a Licensed Baccalaureate Social Worker and earned my Bachelor of Social Work from Minnesota State University Moorhead.
My experience includes child protection and child welfare, forensic interviewing, school social work, foster-parent training, and service as president of the North Dakota Board of Social Work Examiners. This background helps me understand family systems, child development, safety, trauma, school functioning, and the importance of clear, well-supported conclusions.
I created Parenting Pathway Investigations because every child deserves a voice in the process and every parent deserves an investigation that is professional, neutral, and grounded in the facts.
Extensive work with children, caregivers, schools, child-welfare systems, and multidisciplinary teams.
